Being an American is an incredible opportunity for any citizen that wants improve themselves. America provides many and countless opportunities for whoever wants to pursue them to help themselves, the people around them, or our great country. America contains 50 individual states, which contain individual cities and towns. And each and every one of those cities and towns contain many opportunities and chances to improve yourself. My parents have always told me that being an American means improving your self worth, raising other people up with you, and make a difference for our country.

To improve your self worth, there are multiple steps and or morals you want to stick to. First, you must work hard. Like Steve Pavlina said, "When you live for a strong purpose, working hard isn't and option, it's a necessity". You must work hard at all you do to succeed. There are some things that you must remember become a hard worker. Think positive, and keep telling yourself you can do it. Set goals for yourself to reach what you want. You cannot let all of the succession get to your head. In the eyes of most people, cockiness is not a good attitude to have. My mom always told me "Be thankful for what you have, and work hard for what you don't have". Being humble with keep your life balanced and admired by many. Be humble in your confidence and courageous in your character. You should always remember that too much ego wil kill your talent. Always stay humble and be grateful for what you have and what you have accomplished.
