I was born on November 28, 1995, the second child in my family. I enjoyed the title of being the youngest in the family for two years until my brother was born and I got a new position of being a middle child. You all have heard that being a middle child means that our voice and opinions are neglected and we have to struggle harder and harder to get our parent’s attention. But for me being a middle child natured me of who I am today; a better being.

All middle kid has experienced a certain degree of middle child syndrome impact. At my first experience of being a middle child I had no idea that my younger brother would usurp my position as the baby of the family and I would hold only a fraction of my parents’ attention. But as I grew up I began to realize that there are certain advantages also of being a middle child. As I was given less attention in the family so I use to spend my time in my own things and thoughts. I knew that my parents would objectify when I would ask for their permission to participate in after school activities so without informing them I started to participate in chess, table tennis, scrabble, and cricket competition. By participating I discovered that I am not only good in academics but also in extracurricular activities. I got first position in chess and scrabble competition; this made me realize that I have certain abilities to make my own decision. I came to know that being depressed due to being a middle kid was a waste of time as we can’t change the biology and cosmology of siblings, so after it I decided to make my middle position a reason to be unique and more creative. I became more independent by selecting subjects on my own and doing my assignments without asking for help from my siblings. This was giving me a feeling that now I have no strings attached on me like a puppet, I felt like I was free from all the
