We have also got in advantages in peaceful events for example the Alaska Treaty in 1867 the U.S. just purchase Alaska for 12 million from the Russians this was a great opportunity buying Alaska more U.S. territory and at the same time the Russians would have no more reasons to be near the U.S. also the Burlingame Treaty in 1868 this was a peace full event now the U.S. would not have to pay tarrif in imports from China this means less money to spent more profits also if an American would brake a law in China or something he would be trial in Bitain basicly Britain and U.S. had the same laws and they both were friends.
