Twitter verse Although nursing is a great field of work, depending on an individual’s personality nursing may not be for them. The process of obtaining a degree can be very time-consuming so the individual has to stay determined focused and ready to handle all the tasks of life while earning a degree. Depending on the individual, obtaining a nursing degree can either be a long or short process; it ultimately depends on the route the individual is willing to take. Most nursing majors go to college to obtain a Bachelors degree and other studies to go to college and obtain an associate’s degree. Nurses have to make sure that they are strong enough to handle being a nurse. Being a new nurse in the NICU, says a blogger from @mightynurse, “ Working in the NICU, sometimes you forget how bad your day is going, and it makes me feel like I’m not alone feeling scared especially when taking care of tiny lives you see the innocent babies”. Throughout the accounts I’ve read through on twitter, the nursing school journey is serious and depending on how quickly a student wants to gain experience in the hospital, they can obtain an Associates Degree and then further their education on to getting a bachelor’s degree. Another twitter account user named Nell is currently in school trying to obtain her associates degree and she is working as a nurse in a hospital .While doing so Nell is still in school working on her bachelor’s degree and she has a little girl. My point is that it doesn’t matter how a student obtains their degree. A student can be single with no kids and working and going to school because I myself do so and I maintain my life pretty well through prayer and …show more content…
Brittany is a working Nurse and so is Nell. there focus is pretty strong in the nursing field from what I read and their dedication to push through their obstacles are what got them to their achievement of nursing. I would also say that Twitter is a very useful source for students who may be unsure about what field they want to go in and study and what particular job description they would like to have as far as a professional career.
