Maybe not in the near future but eventually, we will have no water left. It is fundamental to understand, what some (capitalists and businesses) are doing wrong, and how they are putting their mistakes under the rug so that it does not get portrayed the way it should be to us citizens. The media also plays a huge role in covering what is going on currently. I am on the ‘Pessimist’ side and believe that corporations are raping nature and the environment. Water covers up more of the Earth than the land that people occupy, and it is a source that people rely on to live. If so, it should be expected that people will take good care of water. The ever growing human development and the high demands people put on the world result in the buildings of factories which results in increased severity of water pollution. “In some areas, depletion and pollution of economically important water resources have gone beyond the point of no return, and coping with a future without reliable water resources systems is now a real prospect in parts of the world”, (secretariat of the convention on biological diversity, 2010).…

While many people around the world leave faucets running, do not fix leaky pipes, and waste valuable drinking water, “women and children spend 125 million hours each day collecting water” in places such as Africa and Asia, “⅓ of the global population lives without access to a toilet”, and “every 90 seconds, a child dies from a water-related disease” (Water.org).
