Telecommunication is a term developed from the Greek Romans. It’s the ability for someone to work with the help of transportable computers, high-speed telecommunication relations, and movable devices, in an off site location different from our normal office work. It has developed gradually in recent business setting and it initially expanded more in the late 20th century. Telecommuting is by no mean a brand-new concept. In reality, the history of telecommuting is a fairly rich term. The terms “telecommuting” and “teleworking” were first develop in the 1970’s by Jack Nilles who was called “The Father of Teleworking” (Hering). The first one, and most common for is working at or from home. There is also satellite office which is also taking place at a different place than an actual office. There are many different industries that have used and developed this technique of telecommuting. Many companies have decided to incorporate teleworking into their daily work to reduce the cost for the company and focus on increasing the revenue. But for every positive thing, there is a negative side to it. With telecommuting there has been many disadvantages that can affect the company and the employees. The benefits of telecommuting are being in a better worker productivity even though employees might be out of sight and you would think that they will be slack off and have not completed their jobs on time but, a study in Stanford in 2014 have discovered the opposite, “the call center employees increased productivity by 13% when they worked from home”. When an employer see that you are doing what you do best like its asked why would they dislike it. if you work from home you can accomplish your time the way you enjoy. You can do the most compelling errands instantly and consent others for the time of the day once you can find an inspiration to work at night, or, on the conflicting, first in the morning. If the weather is acceptable, you can go for a hike through the daytime, go shopping, do some sports that you really enjoy doing, spend some family time with your children. Of course, This does not mean, that you don’t have to work and get your job done. But, you will be able to do it, when you consider you can focus well, and when there is nobody bothers you while your working. For me individually, the best time to get things done and be productive is at night, when its silent, when your face-to-face with your considerations.
