The world is growing at a very fast pace in terms of technology and invention . We have been watching the progress for many years from a small black and white television to LCDs . People are coming up with new inventions one after the other beating up the previous technology. One such invention is television. It has captured the whole world in a very short time. People think that television have some advantages that are useful for them. The bright colors can easily catch our attention . Colors also gives pleasure to our eyes but , sitting for very long in front of television can cause harms to our eyes . The random change of colors in seconds cause eyestrain and it gradually leads to eye pain, blurry vision and headache. People especially children love to watch television from a very short distance . The random change in light of television damages retina that may result in weak eyesight. Each of us need our comfort zone so, while watching television we lay down in our comfortable position . We choose television over exercise . television can entertain us till the time we are watching it but exercise can entertain us for life time. Even the violent images on television cause stress and make us emotionally weak or may result in violent behavior. Emitation of violent , criminal , sexual , and other risky behavior from television invite trouble for teenagers. They may suffer from mental disorder and sleep difficulties.
