In this essay the following will be looked into collecting, analyzing and creating a well-constructed essay that provides evidence as to what socialism and Ujamaa is about. The aim of this assignment is to analyze, criticize and compare both Socialism and Ujamaa. I will do so by defining each term, by giving a clear purpose of it using advantages and disadvantages and most current examples of each which is Tanzania. The goal of this assignment is to evaluate, fill in the loop holes that each ideology might lack and to embrace what each ideology might excel in.
In this assignment I will use books, articles and websites to build my argument. My main goal is to check if the implemented ideologies are successful in Tanzania and if it has made its people their main objective. The outline of my essay will consists a brief summary of each ideology definition, Socialism and Ujamaa in the introduction, my body will then carry out a contested argument through advantages and disadvantages proving that both ideologies share a commonality and the conclusion will just restate that my argument has proven a point.

According to (Greco, 2016), the positive thing Ujamaa did was the rapid increase of village land allocation from 2007 to 2014 which later was claimed to be bribed and corrupt. The relative success was measured by two methods of development – planning the development schemes and managing the development schemes. The connection between them was a crucial stage for the success of the projects. Although Ujamaa’s vision and strategy were valued at solemn review and maybe, in Africa, the present and future development schemes suggest the Ujamaa saga must confront this point with
