Imagine walking down a busy street with stores all around. There are people everywhere and most of them seem to be doing the same action. They might be listening to music, playing games, or simply checking their phones for any notifications. Either way, they may be ignoring those around them in favor for the technology in front of them. Today, the world is moving to be more technologically advanced in the fact that people are connecting with each other online using some type of social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, or Instagram. Furthermore, the people who use these applications may fall into one of the following classifications: The selfie-taker, the phantom, the stalker, or the attention-seeker. The selfie-taker has multiple friends or followers, depending on the site, and multiple photographs. Selfie-takers constantly post pictures of themselves attempting to make a cute or happy face. They will share selfies of preparing for the day in the bathroom, lifting weights in a gym, or even relaxing while watching a movie in bed. Selfie-takers may possibly have a low self-esteem and rely on the number of likes they receive to make themselves feel special and raise their self-esteem.
