Mobile Phones Cell phones are becoming a necessary invention in our life, to the point where it is difficult for people to imagine their lives without mobiles, they are becoming a major addiction. They are used for everything in our daily lives such as communicating with friends and family, keeping up to date with word wide news as well as being able to do work from anywhere. Modern mobiles also allow people to follow and updated with new trends like those in fashion. For these reasons people use cell phones on a daily basis, however, not many people know the exact side effects that there are. Mobile phones have many advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion mobile phones have many disadvantages, Like most inventions these phones come with advantages, which have been mentioned, and disadvantages. This essay shall focus on three drawbacks that mobile phones can have on the life of an average university student. These being the risk of car …show more content…
This is also true for mobile phones. The third and final disadvantage is that, depending on how they are used, mobile phones can actually have a negative impact on a person's health and well being. Staring at the screen for too long can cause permanent damage to a person's eye sight by weakening it. While listening to music or videos from the mobile phone through the use of headphones will also cause the level of a person's hearing to be decreased. These are two example of drawbacks on a person's health that mobile phones can have.

In conclusion, three main disadvantages to mobile phones were mentioned. These were an increased risk of car accidents, a loss of focus during studies and negative health impacts. As a recommendation, mobile phone use should be restricted to those times when there is nothing else that will require focus, concentration and attention.
