In the 21st century there are growing issues due to multiplication in global population growth one of which is the environment depletion and exhaustion of natural resources. Keeping the goals of attaining a sustainable environment hence sustainable life at sight communities are now entering a world that is labeled “The Third Industrial Revolution”, as society moved from fossil fuels in the Second Industrial Revolution to renewable energy generation, technologies in sustainable and smart communities. And also, promotion of alternatives forms of transportation such as carpools, fuel efficient vehicles, mass transit or cycling.
3.0 Advantages of Green technology
Green technology is an approach towards saving our earth due to its advantages: 3.1 Renewable
Green Technology is renewable which fulfill the goal of conserving it for the future generation and they get to enjoy everything that we have access to in the present. Since green technology is more on renewable sources like solar, wind, geothermal, it can be reproduced easily at a rate faster than human consumption and also because these sources are continuously available it’s quantity is not affected by human consumption. 3.2 No negative impact on the environment
Green technology reduces emission of greenhouse thus reducing air pollution. Eventually reducing the causes of global warming and helping to achieve carbon neutral goals. When global warming is reduced the problems related to it such as rise in sea level, flood and landslides can be tackled.

Considering all the advantages of fossil fuels it is economically reasonable to use green technologies rather than unhealthy sources such as fossil fuels. It’s a question that must be raised among the people that using green technologies is not only reasonable because of it’s price but also because of the benefits an individual will get the end of day by making the right choice so why not green technologies rather than sources which they purchase at a slightly low cost but at the end they are calling for more expenditure on health issues and air full of pollution to breath in.
4.0 Barriers to green technology
Even though, there are a lot of reasons why Green Technology should be seen as one of the most required in this era, there are a lot of barriers stopping green technologies to be put into use. Some of the barriers faced by Green Technology are as follows: 4.1 Commercialization barriers
