Sometimes, many actions such as manufacturing business can bring in many effects. The cause and effect issue, let me just explain what I mean by that. Just as one product becomes the bestselling product in the supermarket and becomes the most demanding. Meaning that it will be needed more often and it would require more manufacturing, which means that companies that practice food engineering would need to ensure more manufacturing of that product. For example, if it’s a gallon of milk, think about the steps that would take, from growing the cows as fast as they can, then injecting them with hormones and steroid (Pollan192). That is when one of my biggest question takes place. Can food manufacture be safe and would it be a sustainable source for people? If we take a look into my question you would first have to notice that in order to answer this important question we would have to analyze the disadvantages and advantages of food manufacturing. Also, we would have to take a look at the effects that food manufacture causes, and if there is an issue, would there be a solution to the problem. As well as would have to see how people react with the concept of food manufacture and finally see if it could be ethical for society. In which I mean the principles and the morality in which farmer harvest their food and if food manufacturing could be sustainable. Nevertheless, food manufacturing cannot really guarantee the after effects as well as the side effects of its content. In the following paragraphs I will recall in details what food manufacturing is and explain some of the issues that can develop, as well as the huge impact that food engineering can have upon humans. People often walk into many of those supermarkets without realizing that most of the products that they are buying have been modified by food engineers before being release to the public. It is not that those are bad food stores. For many of these companies it’s just business, according to a research at Colombia University, many of these supermarkets and corporations are often compering for profit. Meaning that companies need to expand their business from how much are they spending each year, how much they can afford to spend each month to how much they are making each day! But exactly how do companies see food manufacture as. According to an article called “what is food Engineering”, food manufacturing is basically is the work of food as explained before, they are in charge of packaging products, which they add chemicals that would make food last longer, that involve making unstable product such us milk, eggs, bread or cheese preserve flavor and become stable, they are also in charge of keeping an delicate product safe and alive.
