The analytical/planned approach to strategy is one of the organizational strategies that the organization can apply. This type of strategy is based on learning from past experience, intuitive, and leadership (Grant & Jordan, 2015). What distinguishes this approach is its flexibility in dealing with external factors and emergency conditions. The emergent strategy approach is not limited to solve a sudden problem, but it is also can be utilized to take advantage of unexpected opportunity in the market. This will give the organization precedence in access the new opportunities before other competitors in the market.
