Advantages And Disadvantages Of America's College Promise

Questions about education are always debatable- how to improve it, how can students get the best possible education etc. A discussion in the USA- should community colleges be free? The president of the United States, Barrack Obama at the end of his second term propose America’s College Promise. This promise would make two years of community college free for all students who are willing to study hard to graduate- their grades need to be at least 2,5 GPA and they also need to attend their classes at least half time. America’s College Promise is similarly designed as programs in Tennessee and Chicago, where the alike programs work at this moment. The main goal of the America’s College Promise is to make college affordable for all students where their social class would not determine their affordance to study at college. However, this proposal represents also disadvantages, therefore the government needs to seriously look advantages and disadvantages of America’s College Promise.

The government needs to recognize the increase of the immigrant population in this country in the last years, whose studies are not covered at all.
