When people overseas they have the chance to meet other people from different cultural backgrounds and so they will learn to cope to foriegn customs and foods. This new experience would make them more rounded.

Another advantage of moving away is that, it can lead to a better quality of life. For instance, thousands of british people move to countries like spain and australia every year. Such countries have warmer climates which encourages people to better work-life balance. In addation, by spending time overseas, people may improve their foreign language skills and gain high qualifications that would improve their promotion prospectes on their return.
