After analyzing the two given sources, A and B, my justification of their credibility has been established. Based on Source A “Understanding Your Fiber Needs”, from the Fiber Farms Cereal Company’s website, there is a high daily fiber requirement that can be hard to obtain. This may have good information, but it can exaggerate and present bias in its thesis because it's being supported by a cereal company that is advertising for a fiber drink. In order to boost your buyers it makes sense that a company would amplify facts to sound more beneficial and nutritious, thus persuading viewers. Therefore, though it does provide information about the role fiber plays in digestion the information in this advertisement is not the cite you should use for a research report.…

I don't really have a pony in the race of the vegetarians vs. the Paleo style meat eaters. Whatever keeps me cancer free will work for me. I did thoroughly read and enjoy the book "The China Study", which has a very convincing theory that cancer was correlated to increased animal protein intake. However, there was one big question left unanswered, which I proceeded to go out and answer for myself. Why have there been some tribes and cultures, namely the Native American "Inuit", Inuit being the correct word, and the word they call themselves, as well as Navajo and others, who were [supposedly] cancer free before contact with Europeans in spite of, the high intake of animal protein in their diet?…

Soluble fibre aids the lowering of cholesterol as it prevents the absorption of bile in the intestines resulting in the increased excretion of bile through faecal matter. The bile salts that are produced by the liver and through this cholesterol is used, therefore influencing the amount of cholesterol in the human blood. Soluble fibres influence the amount of sugar within human blood by slowing the absorption through the combination of sugar and water resulting in a gel substance which is more difficult to absorb. This is efficient in influencing the amount of sugar because if the rate at which the stomach contents are released into the small intestine is reduced then the rate at which glucose is released into the blood, to provide the body…

The inflammation and oxidative stress are involved in the spiraling vicious inflammatory cycle. The presence of antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties of γ-Oryzanol from rice bran oil is due to its ability to inhibit eicosanoids production, reduce oxidative stress, matrix metallo proteinases and C-reactive protein in inside the environment of macrophages (Rukkumani et al, 2012). Rice bran could reduce the levels of nitric oxides, Il-1β, Il-6, TNF-α, COX-2 and 5-LOX expressions in mice (Choi et al, 2013).
