Fasting time to time helps our body to keep clean
Fasting has become very popular these days because of its various benefits to our body. However, it has been practised since a very long time in various cultures of the world. Any tradition and culture include various forms of fasting as a part of their customer's and holy beliefs.
First, let us understand the term fasting. Fasting has various forms but basically, it can be defined as a practice of not consuming any form of food and liquid for a certain period of time. Generally, it is done to perform some experimental tests on the body and is practised as a religious act. Many people take it as a practice to clean the whole body from any kind of toxins and harmful chemicals.

This is the most effective form of fasting and lasts from one to three days and depending on the person's choice the time may vary. Some people also extend it to thirty days. But the safe way is to perform it from one to three days. In this type of fasting, the person is needed to drink at least 3 litres of water a day. Drinking only water makes the system fresh and flushes out all the toxins that have been accumulated during the whole period of non-fasting. The water helps to clean the system and provide the refreshing energy to the whole body and thus makes the individual healthy and toxin free. Water Fasting is practised my many people all over the world. Once in a month, Water Fasting should be practised to make the body system and function well and clean. Water fasting not only gives a clean body but also helps in losing weight by removing the toxins. It improves digestion by kicking up the metabolism and also gives a glowing and beautiful skin.
