Advanced Leader’s Course (ALC) has taught me a lot about myself. It has shown me I need to adjust a few things within myself and within my leadership philosophy. These courses, the instructors, and my fellow peers have added significant input into my life. It has shown me I need more growth in my job as well. The course has shown me there is a lot within Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) I don’t really know and I need to know. After ALC I will push not only myself but my soldiers to expand our knowledge in our field of expertise. I feel that I’m good in the imagery aspect of our job, but I do not feel I’m as good in other areas. I will do my best to become a well-rounded analyst. The course has also taught me to stop procrastinating about work that needs to be done. This will not only help me in career advancements, but will be a great asset to my soldiers and my shop. …show more content…
In order to obtain the rank and respect of a Warrant officer I feel I need to greatly improve in these aspects. This will also help further my soldier’s careers. The IPB process is very import in the overall intelligence picture. As a warrant officer I will need to understand that process fully in order to provide useful input. As a warrant or senior Non Commissioned Officer (NCO) which ever path I end up taking I need to know all things inside GEOINT to help my subordinates and improve their careers.
