Reviewing the article on adult student retention, it is apparent that many colleges and universities are not well-prepared in retaining the non-tradition student; subsequently, adult student retention has become an issue of growing concern (Fincher, 2010).
Better decision making and more well-designed studies on adult retention can decease the attrition rates for colleges and universities; subsequently, by applying the principles of critical-thinking to development alternative approaches to be utilized for organizational improvement.
