No, I do not agree that youth under the age 18 should be in the same environment as adult prisoners. Consequently, the youth would be in grave danger and harm, they would be subject to behavior and actions of adults with far more harmful intentions. The youth would not have a fair chance at redeeming their selves and more susceptible to peer pressure. In my opinion, placing youth prisoners in the same cell with adult prisoners has a disparaging effect.
