ADHD which stands for Adult Attention Deficit Disorder is a mental health disorder. It is normally diagnosed during childhood. About 50 percent of children who are diagnosed with ADHD continues with this disorder throughout adulthood. In adults, as well in children, some of the main characteristics of ADHD include restlessness, difficulty paying attention and impulsiveness. Symptoms also include poor time management skills, poor planning, frequent mood swings, problems focusing on a task, disorganization and problems prioritizing, trouble multitasking, excessive activity, low frustration tolerance, hot temper and problems following through and completing tasks.
