Adrianna shows good gross motor control, doing yoga is a great way to help her to continue to increase strength, body awareness, flexibility as well as coordination. It requires the use of the whole body (from head to toe), which is a great way to in engage all the muscles in the body allowing her to practice balance and coordination. This activity also requires her to use concentration as she focuses on shifting her weight to conform into various body movements and positions. Another activity that can help with gross motor skills is to practice balancing a beanbag on her head. As she walks around both forwards and backwards she has to try her best to not let the beanbag fall off. To make it more challenging she can try walking around obstacles.
