Technology Integration Proposal

The purpose for this proposal is to encourage the adoption and integration of technology in the classroom for my inner city school with a high population of students with a low socioeconomic background. As we all know in our world today almost everything is technology driven. Technology has taken over the methodology of teaching. Even though technology has its pros and cons nonetheless I truly believe in incorporating technology in our classrooms will equip our middle school environment educationally challenge to accommodate 21st century skills. More so it will facilitate a resourceful environment, in which everyone involves, will succeed academically, emotionally, physically, and socially. Technology integration creates rapid development and advancements in school (Roblyer & Doering, 2013). For our students to be able to compete in 21st century we must accommodate technology into our teaching and learning for them to meet the challenges moving forward. Most of the jobs out there today are technological driven so it is important for us to equip our students with the necessary tools for them to be successful in post-secondary schools and beyond. More so this will create a learning environment built on an inquiry-driven, project-based curriculum and advisory model that promotes strong interpersonal relationships between administrators, students’ teachers and parents. However the world we found ourselves today, we should not let speculations creates barriers to our success and most importantly to our students. If we all come together and have one vision that integrating technology will help enhance us and our students then we will overcome our fair of what it will cost , training, your beliefs, technical difficulties and student learning.

Plan for the Technology integration
In order to overcome these barriers I have put together a plan recommending the types of technology tools we need for our school to be technological driven that I feel will improve our school to be technologically incline to meet the 21st century
