Why? Because it is their right to know where they come from and who their biological parents are. Not only it’s their right but it is a basic human right. It is also for their health so that they will know their family medical history. Another thing that adopted children must grant access to biological parents because they will ask question like for an adopted child would like to know his chance of developing a hereditary disease that will not show effects until old age, he will need information from his biological parents. Keeping the truth hidden is usually toxic, and when it comes out, someone is usually pretty angry. There is no good reason to keep the truth from the adopted child because this will just cause to more pain and suffering of the child.
