“Some Americans think that newcomers to America should assimilate and adopt the customs, language, and culture of America”. I think that could be right. Because when you go to another country with different culture, and you follow their customs, it will show that you are friendly, closely and respectfully. That means you want to communicate with them, and you don’t want to be different. For example, when you travel to Vietnam and go to a Vietnamese restaurant if you use a pair of chopstick and eat like Vietnamese people, it shows that you are a friendly and respectful guy.
