Animal Cruelty is occurring worldwide.There are millions of animals being abused yearly.Many people are unaware of the topic animal abandonment. For example, social media, fundraising, and adopt-a-thons are three ways to help spread awareness and inform people of animal abandonment around the world. Adopt-a-thons are great ways to get communities apart of finding a pet to love and care for.For an example according to this quote “Nearly 300 pets were adopted over the three days during last year’s event.Organizers hope to see similar results this year”(Hundreds of animals at adopt-a-thon need homes,2).This quote shows that adopt-a-thons are a big success which helps millions of pets find homes which can keep them off the street.
