CREED Creed was nominated for the oscars in 2016 for best supporting actor being Sylvester Stallone. He did an amazing job playing rocky in this movie. Although he was not the main focus of this movie, he played a big role in training the main character Adonis Creed. Adonis is the son of Apollo Creed. However, He did not know his father because he was killed doing the one thing that he loved most. Just like his father Adonis took up boxing and got his fathers friend Rocky to help train him. The music played a big role in this movie. There was mostly hype and upbeat type songs playing throughout the movie to get your blood pumping whenever a fight or something dramatic would happen. But then there was also sad music which really helped draw emotion for you as a viewer when they found out about rocky having cancer. It is aimed towards the older audience because this continues the Rocky movie in a way. It uses the main character and it also uses the old story to tell a new one. Likewise this movie is aimed towards the younger audience because it a completely new movie that does not have the same main character. Furthermore, it is for a younger audience because they use some words and phrases that the older audience does not understand as well. One example would be when Adonis Johnson says “ it’s in the cloud” and that left Rocky confused on what it meant. Another key component of this move is the imagery. There were a lot of scenes where the imagery showed exactly what was going on and what was happening. When Rocky was diagnosed with cancer, a few scenes later when it showed him going through chemo therapy it also showed him with loss of hair and looking weak. Another example of good imagery within the movie is when Creed was fighting Leo and his eye got swollen. It showed he had loss of vision and that he was having a tough time in the ring with
