The authors, Janet and Geoff Benge wrote a biography about the life of a missionary named, Adoniram Judson. The book took place in 1812-1850. In the story the main character, Adoniram Judson, had to solve many of his problems to tell the Burmese people about the word of God. Adoniram had to be very brave, keen, and determined to complete his mission. On page fifty-seven it says “ He wrote asking if she was willing to formally commence which was the proper way to ask a young woman to consider marriage.” Adoniram was very brave to ask to marry someone, especially because they had just met!
