Anesthesiologists “are the physicians trained to administer and manage anesthesia given during a surgical procedure” (“Responsibilities of the Anesthesiologist”). As stated previously the patient is the main concern, therefore this is when the attentiveness comes in to play. Preoperative patient evaluation happens before the surgery and covers any medical history that way the right dosage of anesthesia is properly administered (“Director of Anesthesia Services Jobs”).
