As a child, Hitler showed great potential because of his great abilities in the classroom. He had a great imagination, and was extremely smart. But as time went on, his mind began to take a turn in a negative way. He began to be against non-Aryans and began to grow up into the evil,unforgivable man that is so well known all over the world. As Hitler grew into the man he was to become, his identity and dreams for himself were drastically changed. Adolf Hitler was born in Braunau am Inn Austria on April 20, 1889. He was the fourth child of Alois Hitler, a custom official who was 51 years old when Adolf was born, and Adolf’s mother was 28 (Adolf Hitler: Early Years). He also had a sister, a half brother, and a half sister. As a child, Adolf was always seen as an exemplary student, but once high school came around, he began to be seen as less successful than before. Since his father was not a very caring man, and he had a bad temper, he did not want to support Adolf’s dream to be an artist, and he suggested that Adolf became a civil servant (Adolf Hitler). “In the July elections for the parliament the Nazis became the strongest party and received close to 38 percent of the votes” (Hitlers Riches). Other parties began to offer Hitler posts in the Cabinet, in exchange for their support, but Hitler denied any offer that did not have the plan of him becoming chancellor. The president of Germany and much of the population did not want Hitler as the chancellor because they knew he would make himself a dictator. This fact became obvious to them because of the information he provided in his speeches (Hitler and the Nazis).
