Could something like the holocaust happens again? Could someone elseelas take over and do the same thing Hitler did on January 30, 1933 throughthrew May 8, 1945. Could someone just as bad as Hitler kill millions of people tooto? Or do we not ever have to worry about it ageing. But how did Hitler gain all the power he had? How was he capable of doing this? Long with other right wing factions and General Ludendorff he attempts to tack over the Bavarian government with an armed uprising. This event was then known as The Beer Hall Putsch. Hitler and 2000 Nazi’s march through Munich to the Beer Hall, to take over a meeting chaired by three of the most important individuals in Bavarian politics. In June 1941, Operation Barbarossa was a go. Germany attacks Russia, ignoring the peace pact. The German invasion of Russia begins.
In February 1943 although commanded by Hitler to stand and fight, the Germans surrender in the battle of Stalingrad. From this point in the war, Germany is continually retreating.
In July 1944, Hitler survives an assassination attempt by Colonel Stauffenberg, who placed a bomb in a briefcase under a table close to Hitler. (Come on Colonel Stauffenberg you had one job. But good try A for effort.) As a result, Hitler purges the army of all possible
