Adolf Hitler's Concentration Camps During World War II

When thinking of Concentration Camps and death camps during World War II what comes to mind? Adolf Hitler was the ruler of Nazi Germany during World War II and ordered all the Jews to be killed. Hitler had many Concentration Camps/ death camps for the Jews, but Auschwitz was the largest. Auschwitz was located in Oswiecim, Poland. The first prisoners at Auschwitz were German prisoners that were transferred from Sachsenhausen concentration camp in Germany. The death camp was separated into three camps; Auschwitz I, II and III each concentration camp forcing prisoners to do labor (Holocaust Encyclopedia).
