Hitler was born on April 20, 1889, in a small village named Braunau Am Inn. He’s known for starting World War ll, being the dictator of Germany, and most of all being the leader of the Nazi party and the holocaust. His father, Alois, was born in 1837. He was the illegitimate son of Maria Anna Schicklgruber and her unknown mate, which may have been someone from the neighborhood named Johann Georg Hiedler. It is also remotely possible Adolf Hitler's grandfather was Jewish. Maria Schicklgruber was said to have been employed as a cook in the household of a wealthy Jewish family named Frankenberger. There is some speculation their 19-year-old son got her pregnant and regularly sent her money after the birth of Alois. Hitler never knew who his …show more content…
After setting up a public banking system, Hitler began his reign by constructing new roads, bridges, dams, canals, port facilities, and much needed repair of public and private buildings. Hitler also eliminated crime by giving criminals jobs. That reduced the crime rate in Germany. He also had made sure that the German workers were well treated.With the goal of enhancing the standard of living for all German citizens equally, Adolph Hitler stimulated the spirit of integrity, comradeship and happiness, by funding numerous worker’s welfare programs including Highly Subsidized International vacation trips. 134,000 theater and concert events were made for 32 million people. 2 million people went on cruises, and 11 million went on theater trips. Every citizen was given a radio. A 5 day work week was made for all citizens. Free Public Health. Hitler’s government banned Trade Unions, and it was mandatory that all workers had to join the German labor Front trade union. Strikes were banned, and people who refused to work were imprisoned. He gave the Gestapo (German police) complete control so they could just arrest someone and throw them in jail for no reason at all. He also used the S.S. (shooting squad). These were Hitler’s personal army that started of as Hitler’s bodyguard,s but he expanded them so that they could wipe out the brown shirts they wiped them out in just one night this night was called “night of the long knives.” People knew that if they foul-mouthed Hitler they would either end up dead or in a concentration camp (which was meant you were as good as dead). The first concentration camp that was first set up was called Dachaw and was set up in 1934. Hitler sent all trade unionists , other party leaders and anyone who he didn’t like. All court judges were Nazis so they voted in favour of Hitler, so if you were a Jew in court you had no chance of getting a fair trial because the Nazis hate all Jews. The Nazis also made extermination camps, Auschwitz was the largest extermination camp these camps were made to exterminate groups of people on a super large scale Auschwitz was the largest extermination camp ever made it was called “the final solution,” this was because this camp was the one that would end the Jewish race. Auschwitz alone killed well over 2 million Jews. 6 million Jews were killed altogether in ww2. in conclusion i think think that terror took a big part in Hitler keeping complete control of Nazi Germany but
