Adolf Hitler was a great leader who had terrible intentions. Hitler rose to power very quickly. He was the main person in charge of creating the Holocaust, taking over countries and pushing the world into the Second World War. All in all Hitler was a terrible leader who led the world to bad places. Hitler was known for his extreme levels of racism. The most commonly heard of racist attack was against the Jewish, which is strange seeing how he had Jewish ancestry. Even though he was prejudice against many people he was highly involved in the community. He was a chairman in the National Socialist German workers party which gave him a high political standpoint. These were a place for a large amount of people to be held. Sometimes for free labor other times to await death. One of the largest camps for women opened up in May of 1939. 130,000 woman went there and only 40,000 survived. The S.S which is short for Schutzstaffel (shoot-stoffle) usually ran these camps. The S.S is German for protection squadron who initially served as the Nazi party, the S.S was Hitler’s personal body guards. Hitler started this formation in 1925 before he became chancellor. They had over 250,000 members in the beginning. The S.S was a high crime organization they had heavy involvement in many types of war crime. Almost twenty years later the S.S had over 800,000 members. Hitler was in charge of the S.S, Nazis, Jews, and etc. he basically had taken over all of Germany. He started communicating with other countries as well. In 1936 Hitler took over Rhineland (historyonthenet 1). Then in 1939 Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia as well as Poland. The invasion of Poland is what led to the start of the Second World War in September of 1939. Hitler had been preparing Germany for the war since he took charge six years earlier.
