In a school, people are always competing for power. They gain it through clothing, friendships, and most importantly, intimidation. The question here is, what does this have to do with anything? Really, these are the ingredients to all forms of leadership. The idea is that a decorated war hero, would be liked much more in a political stance than a random civilian. Politics is very often also about who the political leader knows. However, neither of these themes are seen in politics more than the power of intimidation. Many political leaders harvest fear in order to gain power. While this is not always bad, many times it can quickly turn ugly. Hitler wanted power, and he truly got it. He got it in the worst possible way he could, but the most effective way nonetheless. The thought of it all it that everything is a competition of power. The world’s final flaw is that man is willing to do anything to reach the top. Power hungry leaders run the world and many times they tear it apart. It is a part of human nature to want power, but how far should a person let it go? How many are willing to kill to stay forever on top? What is the point in ruling by fear and death? Why would anyone want to have people fear them. Sure, people don’t always agree with a benevolent leader, but at least they at least feel safe. Hitler came for anyone who was against him. If you defied him, you would be in the same place as the Jewish. Fear rules the world, but it doesn’t have to. Don’t let the world be ruled by inhumanity, and don’t let fear
