My passion is learning; from the trivial to the essential. Luckily, I was able to get a head start on my education to quench my thirst for knowledge. I was fortunate enough to be of the elect few to attend the Mathematics and Science Academy (MSA), an early college program located at the University of Texas at Brownsville. MSA allowed me to graduate with my high school diploma and associate’s degree concurrently. Because of this advancement opportunity, I was able to graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration at the young age of nineteen. At this point in time, I thought my higher education accomplishments were complete, so I stepped into the workforce.
During my time as a claims adjuster at Pronto Insurance, I was able to work closely with personal injury attorneys and the special investigation unit. Due to this exposure, I became aware of the impacts that the

To be general, the claim was reported as vandalism due to syrup in the gas tank. The insured stated that a locksmith opened his home to the suspect, who then stole items from home and poured maple syrup into the vehicle’s gas tank. The insured’s testimony presented several “red flags” as (1) he did not contact police when he became aware that someone trespassed his home, (2) he firmly stated that he did not know the vandal, but later contradicted himself by affirming the suspect had a right to enter his home as a prior tenant, and (3) the engine was damaged, but syrup never entered the fuel filter.
As the investigation continued, the insured needed to undergo an examination under oath (EUO). The information strategically gathered by the attorney was extremely useful in evaluating and resolving the claim. After reviewing the EUO, I aspired to prevent an injustice, such as this one which would have occurred but for the assistance of a competent and skilled
