The exhilaration, the fear, the anxiety, yet the feeling of fulfillment to be in a brand-new place with new people with their unique perspectives and lives. It reignited my desire to attain my goal. My desire further strengthened when the opportunity for me to study abroad showed itself. I am given the opportunity to study abroad at Denmark specifically at the University of Copenhagen for a semester this coming Spring of 2018. It excites me. Thrills me with the thought of expanding my world once again. I am sure that to study abroad will be beneficial for me academically and as an individual. Not only will I be exposed to the unique educational system of Denmark, I will also be exposed to a whole new culture. New people, new scenery, new continent to discover. These future encounters and discoveries will contribute to who I will be in the future. Lessons of humility, open-mindedness, and the importance of respect of being in a new environment will be valuable. Overcoming the difference in culture and language will be the best reward I can take away from this future
