Adjo was a great dog and a great police dog. He was happy while he was at work and while he was at home. Adjo always was calm and good, he listened, he worked, and he was such a great dog we let him come inside the house a lot (and that’s saying something). He was never a spaz and never bit anyone unless he was working, he just never did anything bad. He lived until he was about 15 years old (that is 105 years in dog years), that is a very long time, because the average life span of a Belgian Malinois is 12 - 14 years. Unlike Adjo, he could never find that work switch and turn it off when he was at home and then turn it back on when he was at work. He was sometimes calm, but he never really was a good dog to play with like Adjo, he just sometimes wasn’t safe to be around. But even though he was a spaz and he couldn’t tell if he was at work or at home, he was a great dog, with lots of loving people surrounding him. He was a great dog but once he retired he was still a spaz. He was just crazy enough that we had to give him to another man in the valley, who would take care of him and calm him down. Just like Adjo he lived to be about 14 - 15 years old when he died. I found out he died when I was just coming home from school, and my Mom got a call.
