Adelin Me Narrative

There is a small family, or that's what people think, with a big secret. They live in Panama. The two parents have one daughter. Her name is Adeline, which is a family name. Adeline is in eighth grade. She goes to a small public school not too far from her house. She seems like an ordinary teenager girl, but she is far from it.

One Saturday morning Adeline woke up feeling bad with back pain. She ignored it at first because she thought she was just sore from the soccer game she had the night before. The pain became unbearable, so she went to tell her mom. When she walked out of her room her mom saw her and took a big gasp. Adeline began to panic. She finally calmed down and asked her mom what the issue was.

The mom said "These unusual traits run in our family, but they always skip a couple generations, so I'm very confused on why you have these traits."

Adeline didn't say much so the mom brought out some picture of her elders in their family. The mother told Adeline that they would have to move to Alabama with their other family. Adeline understood, but she wishes this didn't happen to her. When the father got back from work they told him and they packed all of their stuff. They were gone shortly after.

When they got there, she met her family. She told her mom that they are very nice and it feels like she had known them forever. Her family explained that she is here to learn how to keep it a secret and how to deal with it.They told her she didn't have to stay there forever unless she wanted to, she felt very relieved after that. After a couple of days of being there she wasn't sure if she ever wanted to leave.

While she was there they taught her how she could hide her wings and go out in public. They taught her how to use her wings and fly, which was very helpful for her. After a couple weeks of her being there her training was over. They told her she could leave now, but also made it very clear that she can stay and permanently live there. She told them she would have to decline their
