She thinks she is absolutely perfect and that everyone that lives around her is not. She dresses sharply, always looking nice. She has a perfect house on a perfect street called “Pleasant Street”. Her house has a lovely patch of roses in the front yard which have been there for years. She tells tourist about her house and when it was built and when the flowers started to grow and how long they have lasted. “People around town wondered how Miss Strangeworth managed to keep her house looking the way it did, there was a legend that a tourist once mistaking it for the local museum and going all through the place not realizing his mistake.” (Jackson, 1941, p.168) Miss Strangeworth will forever and always be perfect in her eyes.
