I think school uniforms should be enforced to help student’s not be made fun of whatever their personal style may be. It also allows students to focus on work instead of what of their wearing. Some evidence is that in Long Beach California middle school before uniforms 1,135 reported fight’s throughout 1993-94 but only 554 fights in the last academic year with uniforms. With uniforms, you don't have to worry about kids judging what you're wearing. Wearing uniforms can also save time in the mornings so you don't have to pick out clothes. Also, stops reception of gang activity. Uniforms are also cheaper than name brand clothing.But wearing uniforms lesson my creativity. You can easily add a hairstyle or a necklace or shoes. A recent study by the U.S. Department of Education suggests that school uniforms can help reduce theft, violence, and the negative effects of peer pressure caused when some students come to school wearing designer clothing and expensive sneakers. A uniform code also prevents gang members from wearing colors and insignia that could cause trouble and helps school officials recognize intruders who do not belong on campus.”The reason why this is important because it states that The department of US Department of education has done research and has found that school uniforms help stop gang recruitment and theft.
