Once I have completed my GCSEs, I hope to attend Lady Manners Sixth Form as I feel that I will be able to pursue my academic career whilst also experiencing an alternative educational environment and hopefully acquiring new skills and exploring the many possibilities available to me outside of my A level studies. Each of my option subjects that I have chosen, I feel are appropriate for me to study at A Level as my predicted GCSEs suggest that I will be capable of studying them further and I am keen to do so. I have decided to take Chemistry, as I currently enjoy taking the subject as part of my Additional Science GCSE, and I am interested in exploring the subject further and delving deeper into the science involved which I have currently been unable to do as part of my Addition Science GCSE. As well as Chemistry, I have decided to choose English Literature as I enjoy taking the subject and I’m looking forward to studying the subject as it is something I have always passionate about …show more content…
As well as my current academic studies I am participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award, working towards achieving my Silver Award, after already completing my Bronze Award earlier in the year. In my spare time I also attend a local guide group, 1st Somercotes Guides, where I am a currently guide myself but I am also a young leader and this role involves aiding the younger children with their guiding activities, helping them to grow as people, but also helping the leaders in organising events as well as organising events myself for the entire unit. During school I am currently participating in my Sports Leaders Award, which is something I hope to continue into the Sixth Form, I have also qualified as both a Rounders Young Leader and a Preliminary Rounders Umpire. I also attend Senior Choir and I hope to continue attending in Sixth
