A addiction psychiatrist is a person who is specialized/certified to work with those people who are going through some kind of am addiction problem. People who work as a psychiatrist for people with addictions have to prescribe them medicine or even have them attend a therapy class or counseling to help them. Not all psychiatrist do there job the same some even examine them to understand their behavior and their actions. Each session with an indivisible is different since not everyone is the same. In Alaska it is $121,000, Alabama is $149,000, California iS $162,000, Florida is $145,00, Indiana is $150,000, Massachusetts is $182,000, Texas is $149,000, and Wyoming is $189,000. In October of 2010 the salary for addiction psychiatrists went up to almost $151,000.
