All things considered, I believe that the development of the Synergy paper actually presents the student and pastoral leaders with a unique opportunity to shape the destiny of the local church and the AME denomination by virtue of two major advantages at their disposal. First, the availability and accessibility of successful nationally recognized experts in the area of Adaptive Leadership and Transformative Learning. Having a full arsenal of proven experts present during our first semester at Payne Theological Seminary caused a hunger in my spirit. It further ignited an internal desire in my psyche to rise higher and learn as much as I can; towards the betterment of my ministry.
Likewise, sitting among these actual experts during their lectures, teaching and commentary provided; provided a source of encouragement and relief that was very much needed prior to my arrival on campus.
