They live throught Eastern Asia which is in Korea, Taiwan, China, Indochina, Nepal, India and Sri Lanka, but they are mostly located in the mountain peaks of Japan. The adapt to higher elevation in both temperate and tropical places where they can find plenty of food and satisfactory places to build a nest for the female.
