Adam should be given a sentence of two weeks in jail, as well as drug testing, counseling, community service hours, and restricted use of the Internet.
ARGUMENT - Adam’s crimes consist of threatening by stating “that a better way to get rid of kids you don’t like is to put sleeping gas in the school vents and then go through school and “kill the people you don’t like” (Jacobs), and getting in a “fight with another teen at a party” (Jacobs). He had, in the past, claimed that he was homicidal, or wanting to kill people. This fits the definition that “a person commits threatening or intimidation if such person threatens or intimidates by word or conduct to cause physical injury to another person or serious damage to the property
