Driving along the freeway Adam observes the dominant tones of bronze and orca that brush the floor of the landscape. Kilometers on end, the smothering rays of sunlight descend down the mountains. Gazing into the reflection of the revision mirror, Adam turns off the radio and feels the emptiness of the space. Nobody in sight for miles. Nobody to turn to if something goes wrong. Teardrops escaping as he revisits the terrors he faces and the anxiety he endures. Where is home? 4 hours in the other direction back to the loneliness of his life or in this direction to new beginnings.

The thoughts accelerating inside his head. He could hear the loud pounding in his chest, smell the heat of summer and hear the wind bellowing past his ear. Adam discovered that the thing about life is, it pushes you until you break, just to see if you can put yourself back together. In some cases, it is easy to stitch yourself up, get treatment and a support network. But in his case it’s a true reflection of their mental status and resilience.

As Adam stands observing the captivating tones of the peach and sienna landscape. He closes his eyes. Each breath gasping for oxygen. He felt the whole world was against him. He was just an invisible man who nobody cared about. His eyes burnt as the corners of his eyesight become dim. He grits his teeth. It was time.

July-Day 18 I can barely pull myself out of bed today, it's cold outside the blankets that have kept me safe since my descent to dreamland where I have been since 6:30 PM.
