Adam Worth, an extraordinary criminal, born in 1844 in Germany, was born in a poor, Jewish family that had moved from Germany to Massachusetts when he was young. Worth ran away from his family at the age of fifteen to Boston, because he was tired of living with a poor family, especially because they were Jewish.

Worth didn’t have much education because his family couldn’t afford to put him in school. He had one brother named John Shore, however, no one really knows anything else about Worth’s family. Worth was always a mischievous kid because he would steal food and run away eating it.
