Demons, houses with dark pasts, and plenty of gore. These are just some of the things you will be able to find within the works of Adam Gierasch. Gierasch is an LA- based American horror film director, writer, and actor inspired by David Cronenberg, John Water, and even the movie Final Destination. He has worked on projects such as The Mother of Tears, Mortuary, Toolbox Murders remake, and Rats. These movies help to express Gierasch’s love for horror itself. Gierasch is known for directing Autopsy, Night of the Demons remake, Fractured, and Tales of Halloween. He has been awarded 3rd place Horror Society Award in 2016, and also was nominated in 2015 for the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award. The first movie he ever wrote was Autopsy (2008). He wrote the script to help his friend Evan Katz get started in the horror business. His first movie, Autopsy , is about five friends who, while leaving Mardis Gras, get into a car accident and kill a man. An ambulance immediately shows up afterwards, even though no one had called for help. They are taken to a hospital run by insane doctors. They move to Nate’s ancestral home where Emily is plagued by horrifying visions of the ghosts haunting their home, and swears that “the house changed him”. She later finds out that the house has a dark history- that every woman in the house was pregnant and ended up killing their husbands because they “had changed”. At the end of the movie, Emily believes she is stabbing the ghost and ends up killing Nate, and then jumped out of the second story window.
