Halfway through The Diaries of Adam and Eve, Mark Twain describes the upbringing of the two individuals and the feelings they have shown so far. The story goes back and forth between Adam’s and Eve’s diaries, which helps the reader depict the feelings expressed and the actions done at each moment in the book. In the first half of the book we meet two totally different people, Adam and Eve. Adam is a handsome, strong man who is very quiet and uncaring. Eve is a super talkative, energetic, loving and smart woman. Eve fell in love from the second she laid eyes on Adam, but Adam didn't feel the same. Already, I started to enjoy this half of the book because it brought me away from the stories I was told in school about the loving couple,
